Third time lucky!

Hello sweeties! I’ve been a terrible, terrible blogger this week! I won’t apologize though cause it’s not very likely that I’ll be posting more often- not until holidays at least, my exams are taking their toll! I’ll just keep on doing what I enjoy most, shopping, mixing outfits and taking pics… and occasionally even posting them! Some day I’ll get everything sorted out and oh what a wonderful day it’ll be… for now I’m just keeping my head above water lol!

So to make it up to my Twisted Sisters from Sookie’s Twisted Color Challenge, I’ve done a major catch up this week! Here you have the three belated combinations I was due, not only the last two weeks but the one that is currently running… so that means it’s the first time in more than a month that I’m not overdue! (I know, I worry too much about deadlines,what can I say!)

Summer Snack

Hi there! Remember that job interview I never had? Well it turned out I didn’t need it in the end… I just got myself a job selling coffee and sandwiches! I took some pics of my first day at work but I look pretty tired…  it was more than six o’clock and was already dying to go home!

Anyway, the little money came in very handy to do some shopping at a couple events. Good thing I got some group gifts too or I’ll be out of cash in no time!

Still Autumn in Soho

It feels like ages since last Twisted Color Challenge post, probably because I’ve fallen behind yet again… it’s been a pretty interesting week, if by interesting you mean insanely busy! In fact, I should be studying right now so I’ll stick to the point and deliver the landmarks. I’ve been having trouble to find landmarks from some blogposts I’ve read lately, which has made me more aware of the need of linking stuff. Help needed!

Hi there, how you’ve been? I’ve been worried about my finances lately, with The Arcade here and so many events popping out everywhere… so I figured it was time to cut spending and start working to make a living. I saw an ad on the street asking for an employee… I don’t know what kind of job it may be, but it said “APPLY TODAY” so I wanted to be there as early as I could!

I decided to spend the night at the door to make sure I was first on the line in the morning. I was so glad I had my portable fort with me! The neighborhood… well, you don’t really want to know about it, but I sure didn’t catch an hour of sleep. I wonder what would be like to work here everyday! Luckily I had Billy the fish to bear with me all night long.

I must run now, someone is trying to steal my pillow… I’ll keep you posted!

Starting over from scratch

Hello there! After publishing the last post I noticed that it was number 50 already! Now, maybe that’s not a lot for others but I feel quite proud of it, especially considering I knew almost nothing of photo editing back then, and the little I know now I learnt it along the way. I’m happy with the results so far and even happier because I know there is still a lot to learn and improve! I mean, I look at my first pics now and I’m like OMG DID I REALLY?? so hopefully in a year’s time I’ll be looking at this post and laughing at my noob skills!

And to celebrate this (cause I’m that funny you see) I thought of doing a little revamping to the layout I use for pics. I’d been thinking of taking more outdoors shots for a while so I managed to create a new layout from scratch which I think will suit them better (and don’t you dare laughing at me, you PS savants! yeah you know who you are!) 

Now about the clothes… I’ve been walking around in this outfit for the last week (like forever in SL) while I was trying to get the handle on my new viewer, and I felt perfectly comfortable yet stylish in it! I’m particularly fond of ISON’s bomber jacket and I think you need to have it on your inventory. That’s it.

She came in through the bathroom window

Hi people! Back to my weekly post thingy I guess, this time I got to make it in time for the Twisted Color Challenge! Today I’m wearing a dress from a store that I know many of us will miss… it’s so sad to see The Sea Hole closing its doors! There are still a few days left to do some shopping for only 50L at their mainstore, so don’t forget to take a LM!

My hair is from Truth and it’s a donation item at The Catnip Carnival. This event runs from  May 18th to May 26th and it’s part of a project called Avatars for Animals, which main goal is to focus on small, underfunded shelters and welfare groups. The Catnip Carnival proceeds will be donated to a small shelter in Louisiana, USA called River Cities Humane Society for Cats. Head here for more info on the event and the project!

Now for the credits! The colors this week were named Bathroom Tile, so the title and the song are only logical. Hey, don’t blame me! At least I managed to match them quite well this time I think!

Eat Me, Drink Me

Hi there, it’s me again! I’m having the most productive weekend so I may as well make use of it while it lasts!

I’ve been wanting to show off my new boots from Mutresse, they are awesome! Try a demo at the mainstore and you’ll fall in love with all the details, many colors to choose from too! I think I’ll be going back soon to get a red pair too lol

The top I’m wearing is a free group gift from Coco, it comes in two options (black and grey) and the group is free to join. There are many other gifts available in store for you to pick! My shorts are a cute release from 22769  for this month’s edition of Fameshed and they fit perfectly! I got this LoQ hair when I joined the group some days ago. The group is not free but I got a couple of fatpacks instantly so I guess the L$ were well spent! My lovely necklace was made by Maxi Gossamer for the Limited Bazaar and I honestly don’t know if there are any copies left, but take a ride to the event cause there are plenty of other exclusive items to check out as well!

And on a side note… I had fun these days making some tattoos, if you happen to like the one I’m wearing IM me inworld and I’ll send you a copy! If you can’t see it, it’s a little treble clef shaped like a heart. So yeah, it’s not a big deal but I kinda like it. If you like it too, it’s yours =)

Hello! How’s it going? I’m posting late at night again so you may excuse my lack of inspiration. Come to think about it, it’s been like this every time lately. Hmm. I may have to do something about that.
